Machining Performance
Typical machining performance includes:
- Surface roughness: Ra ≤ 6.3 μm
- Concentricity: ≤ ±0.5 mm
- Bevel angle tolerance: ≤ 0.5°
The machine uses a cold cutting process, which avoids thermal influence on the pipe material and maintains the original material properties. Processed pipe ends can be used directly for welding preparation.
The equipment is suitable for machining common industrial pipe materials, including carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, low-temperature steel, and heat-resistant steel.

Structure and Operation
The PCM series pipe end preparation machine uses a multi-jaw self-centering clamping system (3-jaw, 4-jaw, or 6-jaw depending on configuration) to hold the pipe during machining. The cutter head rotates around the pipe while the tool advances through a ratchet feed mechanism.
Main machine features include:
- Rotating cutter head structure
- Mechanical ratchet feed system
- Variable speed control
- Electric lifting system for the main unit
The equipment is designed for stationary installation in pipe fabrication workshops and industrial processing environments.

Bevel Types
The PCM series pipe beveling machine supports common bevel types used in pipe welding preparation, including:
- V bevel
- Double V bevel
- U bevel
- I type bevel
Typical Applications
The PCM series stationary pipe cutting and beveling machines are used for pipe processing in industries such as:
- Pipe fabrication workshops
- Oil and gas pipeline construction
- Petrochemical plants
- Power plant piping systems
- Boiler manufacturing
- Shipbuilding
- Industrial pipeline construction
