The AEK YLTS Series CNC heavy-duty hydraulic tube reducing machine is designed for tube end reducing, shrinking, and forming of steel pipes, stainless steel tubes, and various metal pipe fittings. It is specifically developed for medium-to-large diameter and thick-wall tube applications.

The machine adopts a high-tonnage hydraulic system combined with a CNC (PLC-based) control system, enabling precise adjustment of pressure, stroke, and speed for accurate forming operations.

Depending on the model, it supports tube diameters up to Ø194 mm, a maximum pressing force up to 2600 tons, and a single-pass reducing length up to 260 mm, ensuring stable forming performance under demanding working conditions.

Working Principle

The machine operates through a hydraulic drive system. The oil pump is installed inside the oil tank and immersed in hydraulic oil, which helps reduce noise and improve heat dissipation efficiency.

Driven by the motor, hydraulic oil pushes the plunger to move axially, driving the dies to contract radially and apply pressure to the tube, achieving diameter reduction forming.

Once the preset size is reached, the system stops pressurization automatically. The solenoid valve then reverses direction, the plunger returns, and the dies open to complete the forming cycle.
